Why does the sky look blue?
Ah, now that's a lovely question! But first - what colors do you think are hiding inside sunlight? ... Right, all of them! Blue light jiggles the air molecules more than the others, so it scatters everywhere - that's what you're seeing when you look up. Now, why do you suppose the sunset turns red instead?
